1.1 Rhythm is the representation of movement in a design, and is created when elements are repeated in a sequence within a design to form a pattern. (1)

1.3 Colour is the element of art derived from reflected or absorbed light which also adds interest and mood to a work of art. (1)

1.5 Space is the element of art that refers to the emptiness or area around or within objects. Positive space is the area around that object. (1)
