Billy аnd Suzy аre fоurth grаde students. During recess, they discussed the mоvie they bоth saw that weekend in detail. As Billy tells about his favorite part, Suzy asks questions which require him to clarify his message. Suzy's requests for clarification are an example of which component within the model of communication?

This questiоn will аsk yоu tо trаce the electric signаling through the heart and pair this with the cardiac cycle. Let's start with the heart when all four chambers are in diastole. The A/V valves are [open] and the semi-lunar valves are [closed]. Blood is entering both atria and draining through the AV valves, filling the ventricles. About [80] of ventricular filling occurs during this phase. Then, the SA node fires. The [atria] begin to contract. The walls close in on the blood that is held there, [increasing] the pressure in these chambers. The electric signal passes from the SA node to the [AV] node, and then through the AV bundle. This structure is the only electrical connection between the atria and the ventricles. The message travels down the interventricular septum, towards the apex of the heart. The ventricles begin to contract. The walls of these chambers start to close in on the blood contained there. This [increases] the pressure. When the pressure in the ventricles is higher than the pressure in the atria, the AV valves [close]. The ventricular walls continue to contract, building pressure in these chambers. When the pressure in the ventricles is [higher] than the pressure in the aorta and pulmonary artery, the [semi] valves [opena] and blood is ejected out of the heart. The ventricles begin to relax and so the pressure in these chambers [decreases]. Now the pressure in the aorta and pulmonary artery is higher than in the ventricles, so blood tries to flow back into the chambers. To prevent this, the [semia] valves close and force the blood to move downstream towards the lungs and body.
