Mother states that patient has been complaining of generalized abdominal discomfort for the past 2 – 3 days, but the pain is more intense now and is centered around the right lower quadrant, and now patient presents with a low-grade fever. The patient is alert and oriented and is in obvious pain holding his abdomen with tears coming from his eyes. He presents with pink, febrile, and sweaty skin, a BP of 92/50, HR of 120 bpm and regular, RR of 26 bpm with good tidal volume, SPO2 97%.
