She denies acute fever, severe pain, or recent trauma. She has a history of multiple vaso-occlusive crises in childhood. Ultrasound Findings: Splenic bed: No splenic tissue is visualized in the normal anatomical position. Left Upper Quadrant: A small, shrunken, and highly echogenic (bright) irregular nodule, approximately 1.5 cm in diameter, is identified in the splenic bed. Doppler scan: No vascular flow is detected within the nodule. Surrounding area: No fluid collection, abscess, or free fluid is observed. Based on the patient’s history and ultrasound findings, what is the most likely diagnosis?
