In chapter 12 we discussed what factors influence consumer buying decisions.  Excluding the marketing mix and the 4Ps, there are personal, sociocultural, psychological and situational influences.  Describe any two.

Create a new product (good or service) that can only be found/used/manufactured in Bermuda.  Briefly describe the product and its functions.  How will you ensure the product’s success?

Part 7: Reading – Recept Read the following recipe and answer the questions further below in English.  You do not need to understand every word below. Remember that prefixes, endings or extra words may ‘disguise’ words you already know. Use context, common sense and your knowledge of related vocabulary (roots, suffixes, etc.) to deduce the meaning of unfamiliar words & phrases. Ingredience: 1 ks brambory sůl 1 litr voda 1 ks vejce 1 ks cibule 1 ks mrkev 1 ks česnek 1 ks květák majoránka pepř mletý 0,50 kostka (cube) zeleninový vývar (bouillon/broth) Postup přípravy: Osmažíme cibuli a česnek, až jsou hnědé. Rozebereme (break up) květák na malé růžíčky. Do litru vody přidáme (add) půlku (half) bujónu, cibuli a česnek, brambor nakrájený na malé kostičky a květákové růžičky. Vše dáme vařit 10 minut. Přidáme (add) majoránku, sůl a pepř podle (according to) chuti. Nakonec přidáme (add) rozšlehané (beaten) vejce a ještě minutu povaříme.
