Respond to any 1 of the following prompts. Please copy and paste the prompt in the answer space. Then skip a line and start your question.  (Module 1) Use ecological theory to discuss the impact of being in college on your development. Choose one of Bronfenbrenner’s systems to apply to one of the types of development we will discuss in this class. (Module 2) Pick an area of human psychical, cognitive, or socioemotional development that you are curious about. Develop a testable hypothesis to investigate this area of interest. Specify the type of research design your hypothesis represents and operationally define a main variable. (Module 3) Find a media presentation of a topic relevant to prenatal development/pregnancy/giving birth that you want to learn more about (e.g., a TedTalk, a TikTok, or a YouTube or Buzzfeed short video). Name this topic, include a link to this media presentation, and explain why/how it supports your learning about this topic. Do not use the one I showed in lecture. If you want to respond to this Module’s prompt, indicate that in the answer space below and then go to the additional Exam 1 assignment box when you are done with the rest of this exam. DO NOT complete this Module prompt here. Honorlock will flag you. DO NOT leave this portion of the exam until you are completely done. You will not be allowed back in.  (Module 4) Identify a theory/topic/concept/term from Chapters 3 or 4 that can be used in the service of promoting outcomes that benefit infants. As you work on this prompt, be sure to think about specifics. For example, if you want to use topic XYZ to “raise awareness”, then be clear about things like who’s awareness needs raising, who does the raising, in what way, about what specific age range. (Module 5) Consider Baumrind’s 4 parenting styles. What examples of these styles did you see while watching Moms and Meds? How might abstaining from or taking necessary meds have influenced parenting? Be sure to identify a specific mom and describe her story and use Baumrind’s terminology. Please include the time in the documentary where your example is shown.
