This is your actual Final Narrative Timed Essay. Hopefully, you have reviewed your practice attempt submission and brainstormed ways to improve your final submission. Please remember you are only able to use the assignment “Narrative Essay: Outline and Thesis.” I have printed it out for you, so you should only have this assignment tab open on your computer. You will have ONE HOUR (60 minutes) to write this essay. Your prompt for this essay assignment is the following: Write about a personal experience that has shaped you in some way. You should primarily be focusing on an experience or an event that took place in 24 hours or less. Here are some additional details pertaining to the content of the essay: Your introduction paragraph should introduce how you are as an individual due to the experience you are about to discuss. You should also have a well-developed thesis statement at the end of the paragraph that hints at the experience you are going to discuss as well as the characteristic(s) you have due to that experience. Body Paragraphs- Whatever experience you decide to discuss, you will need to break it into three parts. You should arrange the parts in chronological order. Therefore, the first body paragraph should focus on what happened first, the second body paragraph will focus on what happened next, and then the third body paragraph will focus on what happened last. Your conclusion paragraph should focus on the lesson you learned from this experience as well as how you want to change or grow in relation to the characteristic(s) you have discussed. Also, please remember you should have a minimum of FIVE sensory details, two pieces of dialogue, and a thesis statement at the end of your introduction. You should have five paragraphs and approximately 600-900 words. As far as MLA format is concerned, please use Times New Roman font, size 12, and include a title for your essay. Do not use contractions (such as didn’t) or second-person point-of-view (any form of you). We will begin focusing on MLA more within the next essay module. You will type in the text box. I am looking for college-level writing in your response.
