  Read the quote below and then write a literature essay in response to the topic that follows.   ‘In Purple Hibiscus Adichie highlights the dangerous consequences of silence and shows how speaking out is always the right thing to do.’     By making reference to specific characters and events in the novel, discuss to what extent the above assessment of the novel is accurate.   After having studied Shakespeare in Love as a film study this term, you feel inspired to contact your older cousin, who is studying film and media at university, in order to share your experience with him/her/them. Write the email that you would send to this cousin, with whom you are close. She seems to be acting out of her own personal interest rather than that of her patient.  Write a paragraph of 180 words in which you share your thoughts on the  above statement.
