His medications have been stable for at least 6 months except for the addition of clarithromycin which was prescribed 2 days ago for an upper respiratory infection. His most recent blood pressure reading was 120/70 mm Hg and heart rate 76 beats/min. AK’s most recent lipid panel was high density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol = 60 mg/dL, triglycerides = 150 mg/dL, and total cholesterol = 190 mg/dL.
