The “For Your Consideration” segment explores the “Competitive exclusion principle,” which highlights the necessity of a consumer’s presence to regulate a plant’s population, thereby enabling the survival of other species. What other ecological factor can yield a comparable impact on population sizes?

You will be creating 3 different models to represent how humans are positioned within ecological trophic levels. Using a paint program, hand drawing and scanning, or the site bubble.us, create a trophic pyramid that includes humans. a food chain that includes humans. a food web that includes humans.   Include a key (like the one below) on your document explaining the colors used for each level. The color should be the same for each of the models (e.g., producers should be green in the pyramid, chain, and web. You can export your bubbl.us food web to word or paint program to add the key. Producer:  color? Primary Consumer:  color? Secondary Consumer:  color? Tertiary Consumer:  color? Upload your document here (doc, docx, rtf, or pdf only).

Case studies are widely utilized in the medical field, including in the study of physical therapy, as valuable tools for in-depth exploration, analysis, and documentation of individual patient experiences. Examples of how case studies can be used are listed below. While I focus on the field of physical therapy for these examples, the use of case studies is a tool in multiple fields and can help with research and problem solving skills. Case studies provide a platform to share real-world scenarios, allowing practitioners to discuss and analyze the decision-making process in challenging situations. Case studies contribute to the development of evidence-based practice in physical therapy. You will be presented with three case study questions to help you research, learn, and explore cell functions. Consider these mini-puzzles and you are disease detectives whose job it is to figure out which organelle is malfunctioning.  A twenty-six-year-old man named John visited the emergency room accompanied by his husband. John is an active individual, engaging in jogging twice a week and participating in community baseball. His husband expressed concern, noting that John has been unusually lethargic over the past two weeks. John reported experiencing muscle cramps and, for the last three days, has shown a decline in muscle coordination. Laboratory blood tests revealed elevated glucose levels. Despite having no prior medical history of diabetes or hyperglycemia, John’s doctor determined that his cells seemed to be struggling with sugar processing. Further examinations indicated heightened glycogen levels in muscle fibers and reduced activity of the enzyme cytochrome c oxidase. Based on this information and your investigations into cells, which intracellular organelle is most likely not functioning properly? How did you come to this conclusion? Include researched evidence and examples in your answer. Your answer should include internal citations in APA format (see the last question in the assignment concerning submitting references).
