PART 2 Write down your written responses for Questions 17-20…
PART 2 Write down your written responses for Questions 17-20 with pen and paper (or on a tablet computer with an electronic pen) and keep the exam and Honorlock running. If you wish, you may also add written comments for your choices in Part 1 of the exam, clearly marking which question you are addressing. Once you are done or once the time limit is up, you have 20 minutes to scan your written responses (at a minimum to Questions 17-20, if applicable others) and upload them as a single PDF file in the following assignment section in the Midterm 2 Module on Canvas. We can only accept PDF documents. Try to limit the size of your files to less than 5 MB and make sure that your answers are complete and legible. PDF files > 5 MB will be automatically compressed before grading, which may negatively affect readability. If you are using a phone or digital camera to take pictures of your written work, a popular way to convert your files into a single PDF is to import your pictures into a MS Word document (other word processing software should work, too) and export it into a PDF file. ***IMPORTANT***: New late policy Midterm 2 has an extended time period of 3 hours you can use to work on the exam if you wish. The exam is designed to take you less than 90 minutes, so you should be able work on all of the exam questions during this expanded amount of time even if technical issues arise. Please be aware of our late policy for Midterm 2. For each minute beyond the allowed 20 min grace period for uploading your written work, 10 points will be subtracted from the total score until the score is 0. Finish work on your exam at the latest after 3 hours and upload your work immediately. If you experience any technical problems with Canvas, send me your work by email WITHIN the 20 min window (jkleinse@asu.edu). Make sure that you have a backup plan, e.g. a cell phone, to take pictures of your work and send it to me from there, if all else fails. Important: You will still need to upload your work on Canvas as soon as you are able to, but we will be able to verify that nothing has been added after the fact. In order to receive full points, the first 3 significant figures of your numerical answers must be correct.
