Which of the following is the reservoir rock? The image shows layers of sedimentary rocks with the lower layers being cut by a fault and the upper layers folded up and over the faulted rocks (a monocline). Layer A is folded over the fault and has no oil in it. Layer B is folded over the fault and has oil seeping up through the layer and accumulating at the top of the fold. Layer C is faulted and has oil migrating up through the layer. Layer D is faulted and has oil migrating up through the layer.
