Instructions: please write an essay that answers the following prompt, including all of the details included in the “your essay should…” part. You may not use any external resources or sources in the construction of your essay. It is intended to test your internalized knowledge of course concepts. If you need to create notes or an outline, feel free to type this up in the essay space, itself. You can delete these personal notes after the final draft is typed up, or leave them. Essay prompt: explain & critique one of the arguments that we covered in this course. It can be from any of the Week 4 units on (i.e. it cannot be an example argument from the units on logic and argument mapping; it has to be from one of the units of applied philosophy). You should choose an argument that you are critical of, or at least that you can play devil’s advocate against. Your essay should:- Explain the argument, its conclusion and key explicit premises. Be explicit about whether the argument uses inductive or deductive logic. Explain why you think the argument is inductive (or deductive).  – Provide at least one objection to the argument. Your objection should not be focused on the argument’s conclusion. Instead, you should provide an objection to either a premise, the argument’s logic or both. Be explicit about what exactly you are objecting to and why. Again, you do not have to necessarily think the objection works; you may be just playing Devil’s Advocate. This part of the question is here to illustrate your understanding of how to articulate an objection to a specific premise or inference. While there isn’t a length minimum, I do not see how these tasks could be adequately done without at least a couple of medium (5+ sentence each) paragraphs. If your answers are shorter than that, you should worry that you’re probably missing something important.
