Liz is a 68-year-old who was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. She has experienced pain and stiffness to her neck, bilateral upper and lower extremities. She has difficulty safely navigating more than 4 to 6 steps in her 2 story home and tends to stay on the first floor of her home most of the time to avoid going up and down the stairs in her home. Putting on a bra, washing her hair and putting on pullover shirts have become increasingly difficult for her. As a result Liz has stopped attending programs at the local senior center. Using the COAST format for goal writing, identify the T (Timeframe) in the goal below. Client will independently don a pullover shirt using a reacher within 4 weeks during therapy sessions.
