She was transferred from a skilled nursing facility after fracturing her right humerus in a fall. Order for Oxygen per nasal canula to keep O2 saturation above 92%. After discussing care goals, the client and her family choose hospice. She is now comfortable on Morphine (Pain 1/10), sleeping much of the time, with decreased eating and non-labored breathing. She appears peaceful; vital signs have decreased further, see (after medication). Her family expresses concern about her low oral intake.
