During yоur "Risk Mоdificаtiоn Scаvenger Hunt" mаny of you identified the layout of several buildings on campus. For example: below is an aerial image of the Magnolia Apartment dormitories located on campus. As you can see: the seven buildings that make up the Magnolia dormitories are laid out in a style where there is space in between them; and they all operate individually in terms of apartment units, common spaces, utilities, etc. If a fire would break out and cause damages in one dormitory = this layout would hopefully isolate the fire and corresponding damages to one of the seven buildings; and (likely) leave the remaining six buildings unaffected and still able to house students with minimal disruption. What style of risk modification is being used by USF with the layout the Magnolia Apartments dormitories?
