Gram Stain:  Catalase:  PYR: 6.5% NaCl (Growth in NaCl) Describe the gram stain morphology.  Describe the colony morphology and hemolysis reaction. Why is the catalase reaction important? How does PYR help narrow down the identification and what organisms are you trying to rule out?  What is the most likely organism based on the morphology and reactions.  What additional test could you use to confirm?  Is this organisms clinically significant? If so, why?
