Aristоphаnes mаkes twо аrguments against a claim that business can and shоuld be moral. In Plutus he makes us realize that a direct correlation of morality with wealth (if you are good you get money) is problematic. In Parliament of Women he leads his readers to think that there is no truly fair way to deal with the problem of limited resources. If business is the primary tool by which wealth is gained AND it is the mechanism by which resources are distributed in society, it seems that business cannot be moral and even should not be moral.
