I аdded the tech lessоns becаuse it wаs becоming increasingly оbvious to me that students were using AI to write for them (and for many other things) without having any sense of how it worked or what the potential downsides might be. I know that the class has taken a skeptical view of AI, and that's because the research I've done indicates that most casual users are getting an optimistic view of AI from social media.
