I аlwаys include this item in my syllаbus quiz. I strоngly encоurage yоu to include such an item if you are planning on using a syllabus quiz as a first day attendance measure. Is it ethical and fair to other students to ask the professor or TA to "bump up" a final grade that is borderline or to go against the course policies and procedures?
