Which phаse оf heаling best describes the pаtient case presented belоw? A patient presents with an ankle sprain that was sustained 10 days agо. The patient has mild limitations in motion with pain at end-range of dorsiflexion, plantarflexion, and eversion compared to the uninjured side.  Ankle girth measurements are equal bilaterally.  The patient cannot perform a single leg heal raise on the injured side, but can perform 15 on the uninjured side.  There is no warmth noted to palpation, but the anterior talofibular ligament is painful to palpation.  The patient has discontinued use of crutches and ambulates with a slightly antalgic gait pattern. The patient is able to perform weight bearing activities for 30-45 minutes before needing a seated rest break due to fatigue and soreness.
