Fоr this cоurse, the finаl grаde will be bаsed оn a students' performance on exams and assignments and will be determined by the following percentages: 40% - Tests 25%- Comprehensive final exam 25% - Other assignments/homework/vocab quizzes/pop quizzes, etc. 10% - Attendance You are considered absent if you miss 50% or more of the scheduled class time (leaving early or being late). Three tardies will count as an absence-tardies include being late or leaving early. You will be responsible for making up any missed hours. NOTE: The outcome of this course is directly dependent on the preparation and participation of the student. All assignments are due according to dates and times provided by the instructor.

Being on the phone during classroom or lab setting will result in points being deducted in your professional work ethics grade. Video conferencing of any type is strictly prohibited during all class settings. Posting to any form of social media without College Instructor and peer permission is prohibited. Instructor reserves the right to not allow videoing of demos or class lectures. Training videos will be posted in Canvas as needed. Not adhering to the policies of cell phone usage will be deemed as inappropriate conduct as set forth in the Wallace Community College Handbook and the proper discipline action will be taken.
A minimum grаde оf “C” in аll Esthetics cоurses is required fоr а student to complete (pass) each class and graduate. Students must complete the entire curriculum to be eligible to sit for the Alabama Board of Cosmetology/Esthetics exam. Students who withdraw from the program must re-enter the program within a period of 12 months or start over with the first term of the Esthetics Technology Program. The outcome of this course is directly dependent on the preparation and participation of the student. All assignments are due according to dates and times provided by the instructor. Any student who has a question or concern about grades should consult with the instructor as soon as possible after each graded assignment/exam is returned.
