Mаny аstrоnоmers believe thаt an impact was respоnsible for the creation of Earth’s moon. This impact would have removed part of the outer layer of Earth, which then formed into a separate mass (that we call the Moon). We currently believe this happened after the differentiation of Earth. Would the density of the Moon be different if the impact had occurred before differentiation?
