Cоurse Reflectiоn:   Three pаrts tо this question: 1) The following is something I sаved from one of our first modules in the clаssroom- when we were challenging ourselves to come up with a definition of culture. (Sorry- I can't remember who typed it in the chat-- or I would have given you credit!) Our definition would be something like: Culture is the aspect in which people are able to categorize themselves in order to better understand themselves and others in the ways branching from material to immaterial objects and feelings/ beliefs. It is when people get together with similar interests in order to gain a feeling of belonging and comfort with their life and way of living while being able to accept and adapt to those perspectives of others.   Now that you have completed the course by looking at theories, case studies and learning about different perspectives-- would you change the any part of this definition? Why or why not? would you add anything? would you delete anything?   2) We were introduced to the "Stages of Change" Continuum in this course, and often referred back to it. You did a reflection piece after Unit 3 and Unit 4. How do you think the general public would benefit (or if they would benefit) from being aware of this Continuum? Could this be used as a tool in some aspects of our culture and society? Explain.   3)Overall- in one sentence- how has taking this course changed your perspective/knowledge of culture?
