EMAIL #1 Bountiful Bаkery from:      HeаdChef@BB.com to:          OperationsManager@BB.com cc:          MaintenanceSupervisor@BB.com subject:  Writing Errors on Cakes Demand for our cake orders has been very strong. Our two cake decorators cannot keep up. Even though they have decorated cakes for 20 years, they are frequently making multiple writing errors in cake messages which is resulting in time consuming rework. As you can see from Figure 1, the number of errors may be correlated with the number of characters written on the cake message. Customer complaints about lead-time are escalating due to the rework. With the labor shortage, I do not see how we can hire another cake decorator at this time. Can you meet in two days at 8 am to discuss an automation solution to decrease cake message errors? Identify аnd write dоwn fоur exаmples оf types of persuаsive devices in the text below as well as the examples below.   Children Should Stop Watching Television!   I strongly believe that watching television is bad for children. It is not educational, it creates laziness and it increases bad behaviour. Firstly, because television involves watching, not thinking, it is not educational. When children are not thinking, they are not using their imagination, which is tragic! Don’t you agree? A lack of thinking and imagination can also affect a child’s schoolwork. Secondly, when watching television, students are sat for long periods of time. Sitting still for a long time can create bad habits like not wanting to play outside, which in turn can affect a child’s health, weight and friendships. (7)
