This exаm will cоnsist оf 50 questiоns covering Chаpters 1, 2, 3, аnd 4 of the textbook. Each question is worth 2 points. Students will have 90 minutes to complete this quiz. Blackboard will automatically shut off after the allowed time; any unanswered questions will be counted wrong. Blackboard will automatically grade your quiz after you save and submit your answers. You will not be able to see what you missed immediately. After the quiz deadline, results will be viewable. Once you begin the exam, you will be required to complete it (forced completion). You may not log off and finish at a later time. You have two attempts on the exam. No cheating: Each student will receive a different set of questions and they will be given to each student in random order. You may not try to print, save, or copy the exam questions. Printing, saving, or copying the questions is cheating. You also must use Honorlock to take the exam. See the course calendar for open/close dates. Do not wait until the last hour to take the exam as you may experience technical issues, and you need time to notify me and still take the exam. The exam can be taken at whatever time of day you chose as long as it falls within the open/close period. It is highly recommended that you use a reliable Internet connection and computer for the exam (with Honorlock, you cannot take the exam on a tablet or phone). Remember that all San Jac campuses have libraries with computers you can use for Honorlock. Should you be ‘knocked offline’ or ‘kicked out’ during the quiz or have some other technical difficulty, send me an email immediately explaining what happened plus tell me what steps you have taken or will take to prevent this from happening again. If you need technical help with Blackboard, Blackboard Technical Support can be reached: Phone: 281-542-2084 Email: bbsupport@sjcd.edu If you miss this exam without a documented emergency situation, there are NO make-ups. However, you should contact your instructor. Study tips: Study for this exam as you would a face-to-face exam. Give yourself enough time between the two attempts to allow to study again if needed.
