Exаmple 2: Hоmewоrk Shоuld Be Bаnned  Clаim: Schools should ban homework because it has little academic benefit and causes unnecessary stress for students.  Elaboration: I frequently hear students cite homework as one of the biggest issues facing students. .  Evidence: Education researcher Alfie Kohn found that beyond a certain threshold, homework does not meaningfully improve academic performance. Instead, it leads to heightened stress levels, decreased motivation, and worsened family dynamics as students struggle to meet deadlines (Kohn 23).  Warrant: Because homework contributes more to student exhaustion than to actual learning, schools should eliminate or significantly reduce it. Learning should be an engaging, in-class process rather than an overwhelming burden outside of school hours.  Conclusion: Instead of forcing students to complete busywork at home, schools should focus on maximizing learning opportunities during class time.  Response:
