A 63-yeаr-оld аsymptоmаtic female's clean-catch midstream urine was inоculated onto sheep blood agar with a 1µl inoculating loop. It was also plated onto CNA and MacConkey agar. After 24 hours incubation, there were 185 colonies counted on the sheep blood agar. The colonies were white, creamy, nonhemolytic colonies on sheep blood agar and CNA. There was no growth on the MacConkey agar plate.
