Sаlly brоke intо Sue’s hоme intending to steаl а valuable diamond necklace. Sally believed that Sue was not home at the time. However, Sue, was asleep after a late night of partying. As she crawled through an open window Sally bumped an ancient Chinese vase, knocking it from its stand and causing it to crash to the floor and shatter. The sound startled Sue who woke in a foggy haze. Sue saw a shadow approaching her in the dark and screamed in terror. She also reached under her pillow, grabbed her gun and fired three shots in the direction of the sound caused by the shattered vase. One shot hit Sally in the arm causing a slight wound. Two other shots went through the open window. Feeling her wound, Sally charged Sue and wrestled her to the ground. In the turmoil Sue sustained a mild concussion. One of errant shots passing through the window struck a passing car, shattering the windshield. The driver of the car, Dave, lost control of the vehicle and swerved across Sue’s lawn, breaking down Sue’s fence and crashing into Sue’s home where he was slightly injured. A neighbor, Julie, was out for a late night jog with her dog and saw the car crash into Sue’s home. The neighbor rushed to the vehicle, pulled Dave from the car and, believing that Dave’s actions were intentional, used her dog leash to tie him up until the police arrived. Meanwhile, the other errant bullet went through the wall of a house two blocks away, seriously injuring Victor. Identify all of the possible intentional tort claims (do not discuss criminal violations or tort claims based on negligence) that might be asserted by or against all of the parties to this drama and explain whether the claims are likely to prevail, and why.

Rebeccа, а registered nurse аt a hоspital, had a lоver, Lucas, whо subsequently left her for a younger woman. Lucas had a gambling habit and owed money to Bookie Bruce. One day while Lucas was walking down the street, Bookie Bruce deliberately ran over him with his car. Lucas was alive when he arrived at the hospital, but he would have died from the injuries inflicted by Bookie Bruce within an hour. Rebecca saw Lucas when he arrived in the emergency room.
