Questions

The string dаtа type is cоnsidered text аnd can be used in arithmetic оperatiоns.

Yоu must аccess Micrоsоft Teаms on your smаrtphone and it must be setup to show your entire work area (your body, both hands, keyboard, computer screen and surrounding areas, papers, and entire work surface and work area) during the duration of the exam so that your instructor can watch your work area. Keep both hands on the desk/work surface, within view of the Teams camera at all times. DO NOT OPEN THE EXAM in Honorlock until your work area is approved by the instructor through Teams, or your exam will be invalid and will receive a “0”. Keep the speaker volume for the Teams meeting on during the exam so the instructor can communicate with you if needed.   This is a CLOSED note exam. Using your notes, your own equation sheet, a pre-printed equation sheet, homework, any e-book, any textbook, the internet, a calculator, or any other materials is NOT ALLOWED. The only materials allowed in the testing area are 5 sheets of blank, loose-leaf paper and writing utensils.   You must sit with both legs fully under your desk/table and your body touching (or nearly touching) the table; you may not sit at an angle or with your body scooted back from the table. The computer monitor, honorlock camera, and keyboard should be located directly in front of you.   You may not use your own calculator. You must instead use the online ‘Calculator’ on the right navigation bar in Honorlock.   The Equation sheet and Reference Info Sheet will be available via links in the “Allowed URL’s” tab in honorlock. If you are unable to access the equation sheet, open a chat with the Honorlock technicians to see if they can resolve it. If they are unable to resolve it, notify the instructor immediately.   Before you begin the exam, show each blank sheet of paper, front and back, to the Honorlock camera on your computer.   Complete the entire exam on your paper. Make sure that your work is legible and organized. Leave space between the problems for grading and feedback purposes, and do not cram your writing together. In order to receive any credit for your answers, you must do the following for each problemon your paper: list your knowns and unknowns and label the variables with the correct letters (For example, write “a = 4.2 m/s2” or “acceleration a = 4.2 m/s2,” rather than just “acceleration = 4.2 m/s2“ draw a diagram show your starting equation(s) in standard form (exactly as shown on the equation sheet provided in canvas or the chapter summaries/reviews in the textbook). Do not use equations that you may see in external resources. You will not receive credit if you do not use the equations exactly as shown in the textbook/equation sheet. show ALL work, steps, calculations & units (keep units throughout the entire problem/calculation) express all answers in standard/SI units, unless otherwise directed draw a box around your answer   You will only be able to view one question at a time, and once you move to another question you will not be able to return to previous questions. Immediately after completing each question on your paper, enter your starting equations and answers only(equations must be in standard form, not rearranged) in the answer box on the online test BEFORE you move on to the next test question. Do not spend a lot of time trying to enter the equation perfectly. The equations and answers in the online test answer boxes must match the equations and answers on the paper in order to receive credit. DO NOT include answers in the computer exam answer boxes that are not recorded on your paper, and vice versa. You will not receive credit for any answers that are only provided in one of the locations.   When you are finished with the exam on paper, show each page of your completed exam, front and back, to the camera. Also show any unused pieces of paper, front and back, to the camera.   When you are finished with the exam, but BEFORE you close the online exam and honorlock, retrieve your Smartphone to scan all of your work into a single pdf file (include ALL pages that were in your possession during the exam, including any unused pages and any pages that include scratchwork that you don’t wish to be graded), and upload the pdf file to Canvas® Modules® “Exam #__ Info” Module®” Exam #__ Paper (work and calculations) - SUBMIT HERE”. The exam must be uploaded as a single attachment. Adobe Scan and CamScanner are free apps that can be used to take multiple photos and combine them into a single pdf document. The paper exam must be uploaded within 5 minutes of submitting the online test.   Double check your uploaded file in Canvas to ensure all your pages are included and that they are upright and legible. Late or missing pages will not be accepted. Pages that are uploaded AFTER you have closed/submitted the online exam and honorlock will not be accepted.   Click ‘Submit Quiz’ on this session to close the quiz and end the Honorlock session.   You will have 1.5 hours to complete the exam and upload the file, within your assigned time window. There will be no extensions. Exams posted more than 1.5 hours after the start time will not be accepted
