The fоllоwing pаssаge is the sаme оne you read for question one.  It is reproduced here for your convenience.  Answer the question that follows the passage.        Grit can be more than irritating particles in a person's eye or pebbles in a shoe. Grit can also be a personal trait of having passion combined with perseverance. This type of grit is found in people who are tough and persistent. However, grit means so much more than just making sure there is passion to strive and succeed.  Grit is also having the courage and strength to help others.  A popular movie, Step Up 3,  illustrates this second concept of grit.  Throughout the course of the movie, two groups of dancers (The House of Pirates and The House of Samurai) come against each other for the battle that will change their lives. Although both groups show the basic characteristics of grit, the House of Pirates show the most important ones in their concern for one another. Clearly this House shows more grit because unlike the House of Samurai, they are not selfish, they encourage each other, and they become family. Question:  The following words or phrases serve what function in this paragraph: “However,” “ throughout the course of the movie," "also,"and“Although”?
