These phоtоmicrоgrаphs represent humаn Skeletаl Muscle, stained with H&E at various magnifications. (see Plate 11.1) How is muscle tissue classified? In figure 1 above, the author mentions small blue dots visible at this magnification. What are the small blue dots? How do the small blue dots distinguish skeletal muscle from smooth or cardiac muscle? Figure 4 is a cross-section of human skeletal muscle. What are the blue dots/structures surrounding the MF?  What is the CT, and what role does CT play in the structure of the skeletal muscle?
