This is а screening mаmmоgrаm that shоwed a lesiоn (blue): According to MQSA, The average glandular dose must not exceed: 1. What is her breast density category (letter AND the words associated)? 2. How would the radiologist describe the area of concern using the ACR BIRADS 5 descriptors? 3. The Radiologist recommends spot compression views of the lesion to see if it persists.         What BIRADS number AND  MQSA impression would be on this report? 4.   When the patient returns for her diagnostic mammogram, which 2 spot compression views would Technically give the BEST detail regard of how difficult it might be to preform?  5. & 6. The mass persists on your spot views so the radiologist now recommends an ultrasound. The Ultrasound report states it is solid and taller than wide.  The impression is Highly Suggestive of Malignancy.            What is the BIRADS number and the Radiologist suspicion level is. 7. What biopsy modality(s) might the Radiologist recommend to preform the biopsy? 8. Would you like a bonus point for getting the entire scenario correct?.
