INSTRUCTIONS Reаd "The Ruling Thаt Chаnged America" by Juan Williams. Type a 400-wоrd, оne-paragraph SUMMARY оf Williams' article (word-count range: MINIMUM 350 to maximum 450 words) into the field below. The piece should begin with a thesis statement that provides the topic (article's title and author) and main point. Ideally, it will also mention the genre (essay or article) and subject matter. The rest of the piece should merely summarize Williams' points. Don't add your own ideas, feelings, interpretations, or commentary.  Understand that a summary will not include every detail covered in the original. Cover the points that are most significant to the overall message of the piece.  You may use the built-in spell-checker that puts a wavy red line under words that may be misspelled.  If you know how to handle quotations and citations in MLA style, feel free to include one or two to show what you know. If you have never learned how to quote, be careful not to use any of Williams' wording. (We will cover quoting, citing, and avoiding plagiarism later in this course.) Write for a general audience, providing background and explanation as needed. Members of your audience may not be familiar with what you have read. Write in a formal style, which means writing in third person and avoiding first- and second-person pronouns like "I," "we," and "you." It also means using a full name the first time a real person is mentioned and only a last name after that as you are not on a first-name basis with the experts you mention. Instead of "I agree with Juan and like his style," write, "Juan Williams makes good points. In addition, Williams has an academic style." Don't worry about page and paragraph formatting or details like indentation or double-spacing, as those are not possible in this window. Save yourself a few minutes at the end to proofread your work and fix errors. CHECKLIST (Every submission should include these five things!) a one-sentence topic sentence (thesis) containing the narrowed TOPIC and either one overall point or three primary points three or more primary points fully developed with supporting details (such as evidence, explanation, and/or examples)  a concluding sentence that returns to the topic and the main idea of the thesis and provides a sense of closure by looking at the big picture or the future just one paragraph at least 350 but no more than 450 words* In addition, it must NOT use ANY sourced material other than Vonnegut's article!  IMPORTANT NOTES Any work submitted LATE earns a ZERO.  The paragraph itself MUST meet the minimum WORD COUNT. *Count only words in the paragraph — NOT IN THE HEADING, TITLE, OR WORK-CITED PAGE (if it has those things). Understand that the automatic word counter at the bottom of the window counts the words in the entire field. (The field allows up to 470 words in case you include a work-cited page, but the paragraph itself should be 350 to 450 words.)  Understand that PLAGIARISM or use of ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) like ChatGPT is a serious violation of class policy, which will lead to a ZERO and referral to the dean as a violation of the Student Code of Conduct as noted on the "Course Policies" page of this Canvas course.

Miа spent 4 hоurs studying fоr аn exаm, and she received an A оn the exam. Normally, she would have spent that time watching TV instead of studying. Mia figures she could have made a B after studying only 2.00 hours, but she really wanted an A. What is Mia’s marginal cost in terms of TV viewing to move from a B to an A on the exam?
