Type yоur nаme tо cоnfirm thаt you аre agreeing to the Statement on Academic Integrity below. Statement on Academic Integrity: A test is but one assessment among many of student understanding of material and concepts covered in this course, and as such, must represent the actual work of only the individual student; I understand that cheating in an online or hybrid class like this might yield some short term gain (e.g., the possibility of a higher test score, if I manage to not get caught), but that my resulting failure to learn the content is going to negatively impact my ability to do well in my later in person classes; Everyone in the class is taking a different but comparable version of the test, and the hard work everyone has put into this class is only fairly recognized if no one gains an unfair advantage by cheating, and therefore: All work on this test will be my own I will not ask anyone for help on this test I will not talk with anyone about what was on this test until the test date has passed I will not ask anyone else about what was on their test until after the exam date has passed During the exam, I am allowed to use single printed 8.5" x 11" cheat sheet (note sheet) with my handwritten or typed notes. I will show both sides to the camera and confirm before moving on. I will not access any other external materials or resources: no texts, tutors, friends, web pages, cell phone, AI, etc. I will be sure to take the entire test in one sitting, I will not turn off my computer or otherwise deliberately exit out of my exam, and I will not attempt to make it look like I was interrupted during the course of the test and forced to exit it Other than the normal "looking off into space while thinking" that most of us do, I will maintain my focus on the computer screen and not regularly look off to the side in order to access outside resources I will not use my cell phone or any other digital device (tablet, iPad, Apple Watch, etc.) for any reason during this test, including but not limited to looking up information, looking up definitions, translating words into another language, responding to text or notifications, etc. I understand that if Honorlock catches me violating any of these requirements, my instructor will carefully review my circumstances, and if I am found to have cheated, I will receive a 0 on this test and be reported to the College. I understand that using Chegg or related cheating websites constitutes a violation of academic integrity, and I further realize that as per their terms of use policy, Chegg et al. will release student information to me if I find my test questions on their site after this test is over. If I am found to have uploaded content from this test to Chegg or another of these sites, I will receive a 0 on this test and be reported to the College. Other than the computer on which I am taking this test, I will place my smart phone and any other digital devices out of reach and sight in a different room.
