GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS Instructiоns fоr this exаminаtiоn session: 1. Only primary reference material may be used in each exam session. These primary resources used as reference material for each session must be uploaded at the end of each session in the section "upload 4" that is provided. 4. No internet access to any resources or digital medium are allowed. 5. No preliminary work may be done in advance on the surface of the final artwork before the start of the ten hour exam sessions. 6. The entire final artwork needs to be completed from start to finish during the stipulated exam sessions. 7. Students may not work on their final artwork before, between or after a session. 8. After the 3rd session students may not work any further on their final artwork. 9. Students may not work on any preparatory work of Component 2 from Tuesday 9 May, all preparatory work for Component 2 must be handed in for moderation and safe keeping by Monday 8 May. 10. Ensure that the entire exam session is recorded via honorlock without any interruptions, if you experience any technical difficulties you have to go to the exam connect for assistance. 11. Ensure that the following is clearly visible and being recorded during each exam session; your face, workspace as well as the final artwork. The recorded visuals needs to provide a detailed view of that exam session for the duration of that session. 12. At the start of the first session hold your A3 paper / canvas up towards the camera and turn it around to show the back as well, to show that no work was done prior to this session and that you are starting on a clean surface. 13. At the end of each session you will hold your entire artwork up towards the camera to show the section of work completed during that session. 14. At the end of each session a timestamped photo is required of the final artwork and the work completed during that session. This photo must include the entire surface of the artwork. The time of the photo needs to correspond with the end time of that particular session. 15.
