Exаm Instructiоns: Yоu MUST perfоrm аn аcceptable environment scan and clearly show your ID to the webcam. The scan MUST be done slowly. It MUST show the surface of the table, desk, chair, and/or where your computer is resting. You must also show an ID- something with your name on it. This is for proof that you are the person who is registered for the class. At no time should there be anyone in the room during the exam after you complete the environment scan. If someone walks in on you during the exam, try to get them to leave as soon as possible and explain the reason for the interruption to the webcam. Now, if there is some type of an emergency out of your control, I will understand that. Any attempt to obscure the view of the camera with your hand or tape is considered cheating and will result in a zero on the exam (initial warning). Failure to conduct an adequate environment scan coupled with suspicious behavior and/or suspicious sounds is considered cheating. Having any type of notes, books, index cards, phone or tablet in your immediate testing area during the exam is considered cheating. Leaving the view of the webcam is not allowed.
