Reаd the fоllоwing sectiоn from the syllаbus аnd then answer the question. We are in a hybrid course structure. We will meet Tuesdays from 8:30 to 9:45am. Our classroom is West Campus, Building 1, Room 152. On Tuesdays we will go over the subject matter for the week (these lectures are on Canvas as well if you have to miss a class). The rest of the work, papers, quizzes, tests, discussion boards, etc., will be done on your own on Canvas. Your lessons are all on Canvas, categorized by week and are divided into modules which range from Monday through Sunday. Follow the specific instructions for each item found within the modules. Attendance: Attendance will be taken on Tuesdays. You will have a class participation grade (10%) that is based on your participation in the classroom. Attendance is also noted by weekly discussion boards and quizzes. If a student does not take quizzes or post to the discussion board within the first week of class, they will be withdrawn without reinstatement. CLASS PARTICIPATION will be 10% of your final grade. Class participation will take many guises: class discussions, presentations, and pop quizzes among other items. Class Participation is an essential and required component of this professor's classroom dynamic. This requirement does not just entail the ability of the student to open his/her mouth and let any random musing clatter onto the tabletop.
