The market has an expected return of 0.0804 and the risk free rate is 0.04. Assume that the firm has a constant dividend payout ratio and a constant cost of capital. The firm has 50.00 million shares outstanding. Part A Calculate the Return on Equity (ROE), Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR), and cost of equity for XYZ Part B Calculate the growth rate in assets using your answers from Part A Part C Calculate the book value of equity for the next year using the answer in Part B Part D Calculate the forecasted abnormal earnings for the next 2 years Part E Assuming the firm operates for 2 years and then shuts down, what is the value of the shares using the Residual Income Model (alternatively called clean surplus)? Please note the following: (1) Do your best to show your work.  For example, when finding a present value of a cash flow in two years the following would be acceptable PV = FV/(1+r)^2 (2) To conserve space and time, it is not necessary to write down Part A, Part B, etc in your answer.  However, please do answer the question sequentially as asked for in the problem.
