Read the two cases below:Beth lived on her own until age 72 but died from problems related to heart disease. She had high blood pressure, low cardiovascular endurance, weaker muscles, stiffer joints, and sometimes had trouble remembering things or multitasking.Mary, age 90, lives in a care facility. She has arthritis but can move around moderately well. Her heart and blood vessels work well, and she has strong memory and thinking skills, allowing her to do most daily tasks on her own.Pick one idea or concept from each chapter (three total) that helps explain their aging. For each concept:Compare Beth and Mary. Explain which changes are normal for aging and which show disease. Use class vocabulary to support your answer.
