Jаck аnd Jill's Stоry Jаck and Jill have been tоgether fоr over a year now. At first, things were exciting. There were constant texts, long hangouts, and the feeling that they had finally found “their person.” Jack, ever the loyal partner, slowly gave up a lot of the times that he used to hang out with his friends to make more time for Jill. He liked being needed, and focusing on her made him feel like he was doing things right. But somewhere along the way, he stopped noticing how much of himself he was giving up. His friends asked when they’d see him again, and his guitar collected dust in the corner of his room. On the other side, Jill started to feel the weight of expectations. Some of these expectations were from Jack, but many from the people around him. Jack’s friends had strong opinions about what kind of person he “deserved.” Jill always felt she had to explain herself, like where she was going, who she was with, what she was wearing. Even when she was alone, she felt like she was being watched through the lens of Jack’s world. And yet, when they were together, she was the one taking control.
