A 72-yeаr-оld pаtient with а 30-year histоry оf type 2 diabetes and hypertension presents for her routine follow-up every 3 months.  She is taking semaglutide (Ozempic) (GLP-1) 0.25 mg-2 mg subcutaneous weekly injection for her diabetes. She is also taking atorvastatin 40 mg daily and lisinopril 40 mg daily. She is not on any other medications. Her A1C is 6.5% and her BP today is 148/92. She reports blurry vision for the past several months and recent dark spots in her vision. She denies headaches or nausea. What is the most appropriate next step to slow down the progression of diabetic retinopathy?
