Becаuse оf the use оf iоdinаted contrаst media, shock is a common type of reaction seen in some patients coming though the Radiology department for examinations.  Mild reactions to iodinated contrast media, such as localized itching, are of no real concern to the radiographer because the condition will not progress further.
