Pleаse reаd the full аrgument belоw: Bоth bоnobos and chimpanzees are known for using gestures to communicate with members of their own species, but researchers wanted to learn if these apes could understand the gestures across species.  1) They reasoned that if many of the gestures mean the same thing to both bonobos and chimpanzees, then members of the two species could understand each other’s signaling. In their study, the researchers first attempted to deduce the meaning of each species’ gestures. They did this by looking at the ‘Apparently Satisfactory Outcomes’ (ASOs). In other words, they watched one ape gesture to another, and they noted how the recipient ape responded. If the signaling ape stopped gesturing after the recipient ape responded, it was assumed that the signaling ape was “satisfied”, and the receiving ape’s response was appropriate for that specific gesture. The responses that were deemed “satisfactory” or appropriate were used to help formulate meanings for each gesture. Then, researchers compared the apparent meanings of each bonobo and chimpanzee gesture to look for similarities. Ultimately, 2) they found that many of the gestures held the same meaning for both species. Therefore, they concluded that 3) bonobos and chimpanzees could theoretically understand one another’s gestures and communicate with each other.   Identify the specified sentence as either the Claim, Evidence, or Reasoning: They found that many of the gestures held the same meaning for both species.
