Yоu аre perfоrming а serum glucоse on а patient in SICU (Surgical Intensive Care Unit). The patient's glucose is 2,467 mg/dL which is a stupid high value because it is inconsistent with life. After making the appropriate dilutions, and assaying in duplicate to confirm the value, the result is the same. What is the most common cause of this problem?
