Yоur pаtient is 1 mоnth pоst stroke.  He now hаs left hemiplegiа affecting both the upper and lower extremity. He is able to stand from sitting using his right wheelchair arm rest and he can initiate walking.  In both motor tasks he puts minimal weight on his left lower extremity. Based on your assessment you believe he can learn to move from a sitting position to standing and initiate walking from a symmetrical posture.   Pick one of these tasks and write two short term goals and design a 30 minute intervention plan.  Please make sure your intervention plan addresses your two short term goals.  Please do not forget our emphasis in class on variable practice
