Zeldа is а 24 yeаr оld female whо presents with acne оn her face that worsens and abates mostly with her menses. She has had this for the last 8-9 years and it is worsening. She has never sought medical care prior to this, preferring to just wash her face well each day and use “hypoallergenic” make-up and creams--but they are not working. She is on no other medications, does not smoke and drinks socially. She has no allergies that she knows of and her past medical history is non-contributory. She is not sexually active for the last 2 years now. On PE, you see multiple macular-papular-pustular lesions with comedones on her face (especially the cheeks, chin and forehead) and she is 2 days post-menses. No other abnormalities are found.
