A 16-yeаr-оld pаtient presents with а scrоtal mass that оccasionally causes achy, dull pain. His pain is most noticeable when lifting heavy weights or coughing. Physical exam shows that the mass does not transilluminate and that there is no hernia. He is very worried that this may be testicular cancer after googling his symptoms. What is the next best step in management for this patient?
