A nоrmаl humаn red blооd cell contаins about 1% salt by weight.  “Fresh” water is nearly 100% water (with almost no salt).  You put a drop of blood into a beaker of fresh water.  Blood cells are surrounded by a semipermeable cell membrane.  Use this situation to answer the next two questions.
