High intаke оf _________________ is mоst likely cоntributing to her diаrrheа.Patient Scenario: Wendy is now 2 weeks post op from a gastric resection due to a perforated ulcer from complicated PUD.  Prior to her surgery, she was experiencing severe pain, nausea, and vomiting.  She is now complaining of persistent diarrhea after she eats.  Wendy is currently NPO, but her “normal” diet since surgery (i.e. past 2 weeks) consists of fruit juice and toast with butter for breakfast; half a tuna sandwich and Sprite for lunch; an afternoon snack of a granola bar and Gatorade; dinner is mashed potatoes with gravy and ice cream for dessert.
